Not much to say here. Boss Baby is pretty nonsensical and light-hearted. It has a surprisingly really great voice cast (I didn’t know who else was in it besides Alec Baldwin, but the movie also featured Jimmy Kimmel, Lisa Kudrow, and Toby Maguire). Besides a really good voice cast, the dialogue was fairly well-written; mainly kid friendly, it has elements that only adults would catch on to. The movie also has a lot of references to popular culture, which was fun to follow and identify. Lastly, I really liked the animation in the movie — especially Tim’s imaginary play sequences.

The biggest downside for me was the storyline was not particularly compelling and cheesy, especially towards the end. But considering I didn’t expect much going into it and actually enjoyed it, I’d give it a 7/10 — it’s a good choice for an uninvolved Saturday night movie.
